These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LoungeAdvisor mobile application and related services (collectively, "LoungeAdvisor," "the App," or "the Service"). The Service is provided by Bruce Bishop ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using LoungeAdvisor, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use LoungeAdvisor. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian. You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

LoungeAdvisor helps users:

  • Search airports and browse lounge listings
  • View lounge details, amenities, hours, and access rules
  • Add credit cards, memberships, and status to a personal wallet
  • See personalized access guidance based on wallet contents
  • Save favorites and log visits
  • Use optional location-based airport detection
  • Submit moderated lounge reviews, verification notes, issue reports, and community photos
  • Open external map apps for directions
  • Subscribe to optional premium membership features

LoungeAdvisor is an informational tool. We do not operate airport lounges, sell lounge passes, guarantee entry, or act as your agent with airlines, card issuers, or lounge operators.

3. Accounts

3.1 Creating an account

You may sign in with email, Apple, or Google (as enabled). You agree to provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3.2 Guest use

You may browse limited functionality without an account. Guest data is not synced to a persistent account until you sign in.

3.3 Account security

Notify us promptly at admin@petros.llc if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard credentials.

3.4 Termination by you

You may sign out or delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes or disables access to your wallet, favorites, visit history, community contributions, uploaded photos, and related account data, subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations. Deleting your LoungeAdvisor account does not automatically cancel any Apple-managed subscription.

3.5 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. We will try to provide reasonable notice when practical.

4. Membership and Payments

4.1 Premium features

Certain features require a paid membership or subscription. Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown in the App before purchase.

4.2 Apple App Store

Purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment, renewals, refunds, and subscription management are subject to Apple's terms and policies. We do not store your full payment card number.

4.3 RevenueCat

Subscription entitlements may be managed through RevenueCat as our subscription infrastructure partner.

4.4 Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings. Refund requests must be directed to Apple unless otherwise required by law.

4.5 Price changes

We may change subscription pricing for future billing periods with notice as required by Apple and applicable law.

5. User Content and Data

5.1 Your wallet and activity

Information you add (cards, memberships, favorites, visits) is your content for purposes of operating the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve LoungeAdvisor, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5.2 Community reviews and photos

If you submit reviews, ratings, verification notes, issue reports, photos, captions, or similar community content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, review, moderate, display, and remove that content for purposes of operating and improving LoungeAdvisor.

Community content may be reviewed before or after publication. We may reject, remove, hide, or limit content that appears abusive, unlawful, misleading, spammy, privacy-invasive, unsafe, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms. Users can report community content and block other community contributors in the App. We aim to review reports in a reasonable period, but we do not guarantee that every report will result in removal.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload photos containing private documents, payment cards, government IDs, confidential information, or people who have not consented to appear.

5.3 Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
  • Upload malware or interfere with the Service
  • Submit hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, spam, or otherwise objectionable community content
  • Upload private personal information about another person without permission
  • Misrepresent affiliation with airlines, card issuers, or lounge networks
  • Use automated means to extract bulk catalog data without permission

We may investigate and take action, including account termination, for violations.

6. Lounge, Airport, and Access Information

6.1 No guarantee of access

Lounge entry rules change frequently. Airlines, card issuers, and lounge operators may deny access based on capacity, flight eligibility, guest rules, dress codes, paid memberships, or other policies not reflected in the App.

You are solely responsible for verifying eligibility before traveling. LoungeAdvisor does not guarantee that any path shown in the App will result in lounge admission.

6.2 Accuracy disclaimer

Catalog data (hours, locations, amenities, access rules) may contain errors or delays. The Service is provided for general reference, not as professional travel, financial, or legal advice.

6.3 Third-party policies prevail

Your relationships with banks, card networks, Priority Pass, airlines, and lounge operators are governed by their terms. In any conflict, their official policies control.

7. Location Services

If you enable location access, the App may detect proximity to supported airports. Location features are optional. See the Privacy Policy for how location is handled.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our property

LoungeAdvisor, including its design, branding, software, and compiled data presentation, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service.

8.2 Limited license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store rules.

8.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

8.4 Feedback

If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without compensation or restriction.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The App integrates with or links to third-party services (e.g., Supabase, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Apple Maps, Google Maps). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

11. Limitation of Liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where limitation is prohibited.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bruce Bishop and affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, contact admin@petros.llc and allow 30 days for us to try to resolve the issue.

13.2 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.

13.3 Venue

Except where prohibited by law, exclusive jurisdiction for disputes shall be in the state or federal courts located in the operator's principal place of business, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded LoungeAdvisor from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Bruce Bishop, not Apple.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • Apple is not responsible for product claims, intellectual property infringement claims, or third-party claims related to the App.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Your use must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and App Store rules.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the Last updated date and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

16. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding LoungeAdvisor and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
